There are days I wish my father was as wealthy as Elon Musk, but I won't say that for fear of my own father reading this and forbidding me from entering the home tonight.
Not that he hasn't met all of my needs, but every now and again, one does wonder what it's like to live on the other side of the coin.
Evidently not all that fantastic, since Elon Musk's own daughter has applied to have her name changed, abandoning the last name "Musk" and taking her mother's maiden instead.
The transgender teen, once known as Xavier Musk, has applied to be called Vivian Jenna Wilson in Santa Monica, California. Not only has she decided to come out as transgender, but she has also decided to cut all relations with her father, Elon Musk.
Her name change was motivated by "gender identity and the fact that I no longer live with or wish to be associated with my biological father in any way, shape, or form," according to the paperwork submitted for the procedure.
Elon Musk has occasionally used Twitter to make disrespectful statements, such as "Pronouns suck" and "these pronouns are an aesthetic nightmare," even though little is known about the relationship he and Vivian share.
It is unknown at this time whether Vivian will receive financial support from her father's 213 billion-dollar fortune.
