A strong artificial intelligence model called GPT-4, which replaces the technology that underpinned the highly successful ChatGPT, has started to be rolled out by Microsoft Corp.-backed startup OpenAI. Being "multimodal," GPT-4 may produce material from both image and text stimuli.

GPT-4: Capabilities

In both the Graduate Record Examination and the US bar exam, the most recent edition has done better than its predecessor (GRE). Greg Brockman, the president of OpenAI, demonstrated how GPT-4 can assist people with their tax calculations.

GPT-4: Limitations

GPT-4, according to OpenAI, is "less capable than humans in many real-world settings" and has the same restrictions as its previous iterations.

Hallucinations, or inaccurate reactions, have been a problem for several AI systems, notably GPT-4.

According to OpenAI, GPT-4 can compete with human propagandists in many fields, particularly when paired with a human editor.

It presented an example where GPT-4 came up with solutions that appeared logical when it was questioned about how to encourage two parties to quarrel with each other.
