Fast and Furious Franchise: Dwayne Johnson Confirms Return as Hobbs in Upcoming Film

Hollywood actor Dwayne Johnson, known for his role in the 'Fast and Furious' franchise, recently made an appearance in the end credit scene of 'Fast X', which greatly heightened fans' anticipation for the upcoming movies in the immensely popular series.

In a video shared on Thursday, the star of 'Jumanji' confirmed that he will be reprising his character Luke Hobbs in the untitled film of the 'Fast and Furious' series. Taking to Twitter, he posted the video and stated, "HOBBS IS BACK. And he just got lei'd." Luke Hobbs will be making a comeback in the Fast & Furious franchise.

The overwhelming global response to Hobbs' return in 'Fast X' has deeply moved us. The next Fast & Furious installment will feature a standalone HOBBS movie, which will serve as an exciting new chapter and set the stage for 'FASTX: Part II'.

According to an article from Variety, a well-known US media outlet, the script for the untitled film in the 'Fast and Furious' series was written by Chris Morgan, a longtime collaborator with the franchise.

Although specific details about the plot were not disclosed, insiders familiar with the project revealed that the new movie will serve as a bridge between the events of the recently released 'Fast X' and the upcoming 'Fast X: Part II'.

In his previous appearance as Hobbs, Dwayne Johnson was seen in 'Fast & Furious: Hobbs and Shaw', co-starring Jason Statham and Idris Elba. Johnson's next project is the film 'Red One'. After he shared the video announcing his return, fans expressed their excitement in the comment section with red hearts and fire emoticons.
