What is Channel?

Instagram describes Channels as a "public, one-to-many messaging tool" that enables individuals to engage directly with their followers on a large scale. Through Channels, creators have the ability to utilize various media formats such as text, photos, videos, voice notes, and polls to provide their followers with the latest updates and exclusive behind-the-scenes content.
