Shah Rukh Khan injured in US accident, undergoes surgery: Report

Shah Rukh Khan injured while filming, returns home for recovery.

According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan, a popular Bollywood actor, was involved in an accident while filming a project in Los Angeles. It is stated that Khan injured his nose and subsequently underwent a minor surgery due to the incident. A source informed ETimes that during the shooting, Khan suffered a nose injury that resulted in bleeding, leading to his immediate transfer to a hospital.

The source also mentioned that the doctors reassured the actor's team that there was no cause for concern, but a minor surgery was required to address the bleeding. Following the operation, Shah Rukh Khan was seen wearing a bandage on his nose. Presently, Khan has returned to his home country and is in the process of recovering, according to the source. As of now, neither the actor nor his team has made any official statements regarding the incident.

Shah Rukh Khan made a remarkable comeback to the big screen earlier this year with the film "Pathaan," directed by Sidharth Anand. The movie, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, was released on January 25 and achieved a gross worldwide box office collection of over Rs 1,000 crore.

Acknowledging the film's global success, Khan expressed his gratitude to the audience for reviving the cinema experience. He also thanked the media for their support despite potential obstacles that could have affected the film's release.

Following the success of "Pathaan," Shah Rukh Khan is now preparing for his second release, "Jawan." The film promises to showcase Khan in a never-before-seen role and features him sharing screen space with the acclaimed actress Nayanthara. Vijay Sethupathi is reportedly playing the antagonist in the movie.
